Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
The Short Version
We collect only what we need to run the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. Your messages and contacts belong to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details — your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and organization name.
- Bot configurations — system prompts, model settings, knowledge base entries, and tool configurations you create.
- Contacts — phone numbers, names, tags, notes, and any other contact information you add or import.
- Messages — the content of conversations between your bots and your contacts, including text, media, and metadata.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed through third-party providers. We do not store your full card details.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — which features you use, when you log in, and basic interaction patterns. This helps us improve the platform.
- Technical data — your IP address, browser type, and device information. Standard web stuff.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Run the platform and provide you with the features you use.
- Process and deliver messages between your bots and your contacts.
- Send you important updates about the service (not marketing spam).
- Improve the platform based on how people use it.
- Prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and keep the platform secure.
Third-Party Services
To provide certain features, we share data with third-party services:
- AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) — when your bots generate responses, the conversation context is sent to the AI provider you have selected. Each provider has their own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp / Meta — messages sent through WhatsApp are processed by Meta's infrastructure. We have no control over how Meta handles data on their end.
- Payment processors — if you make payments, the transaction is handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full payment details.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and follow reasonable security practices to protect your information. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
That said, no system is 100% secure. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever occurs, we will notify affected users as required by law.
Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as preventing fraud or resolving disputes).
Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and make the platform work. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Children
Neuron is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
