What Neuron Is

Neuron is a platform that helps you automate WhatsApp conversations. You can build AI-powered chatbots, send broadcast messages, manage contacts, run campaigns, and connect through our API. When we say "Neuron", "we", or "us", we mean the team behind the platform. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you — the person or organization using Neuron.

By Using Neuron, You Agree to These Terms

When you create an account or use any part of Neuron, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. That means using a strong password and not sharing your login credentials. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You must provide accurate information when registering. One person or organization may maintain multiple accounts, but each account must represent a legitimate use case.

WhatsApp Access — Important Disclaimer

Neuron provides tools to interact with WhatsApp. However, Neuron is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to WhatsApp or Meta in any way. The WhatsApp name and brand belong to Meta Platforms, Inc.

Access to WhatsApp through Neuron is provided on an unofficial basis. WhatsApp may change their platform, restrict access, or take action against accounts at any time, and we have no control over that.

You are fully responsible for how you use WhatsApp through Neuron. This includes compliance with WhatsApp's own terms of service, any applicable laws, and any consequences that result from your usage. Neuron does not guarantee uninterrupted WhatsApp access and is not liable for any actions WhatsApp or Meta may take on your account.

Fair Usage

You agree to use Neuron responsibly. That means:

  • Do not send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk messages to people who have not consented to receive them.
  • Do not use Neuron to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone.
  • Do not use the platform for any illegal activity, including fraud, phishing, or distributing harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of Neuron.
  • Do not resell or redistribute access to Neuron without our written permission.
  • Respect the rate limits and usage guidelines we publish. If you need higher limits, talk to us.

Your Content and Data

You own the content you create and the data you upload to Neuron. We do not claim ownership of your messages, contacts, knowledge base entries, or bot configurations.

However, by using the platform, you grant us the right to process, store, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service. For example, we need to store your bot's system prompt to run it, and we need to process messages to deliver them.

AI and Third-Party Services

Neuron connects to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) to power chatbot responses. When you use these features, your messages and bot configurations may be sent to these providers for processing. Each provider has their own terms and privacy policies.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and overseeing the responses your bots send. Neuron is not liable for the content generated by AI models.

Campaigns and Broadcasts

If you use Neuron's broadcast or campaign features, you are responsible for ensuring you have proper consent from recipients. Sending unsolicited messages may violate laws in your jurisdiction and can result in your WhatsApp account being restricted or banned. Neuron is not responsible for any consequences of your messaging practices.

Payment and Plans

Some features of Neuron require a paid plan. Prices and plan details are shown on the platform. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. If you cancel a paid plan, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

We Can Terminate Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Abusive or harmful behavior
  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages
  • Using the platform for illegal purposes
  • Non-payment for paid services
  • Any reason we deem necessary to protect the platform or its users

You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data may be deleted and may not be recoverable.

We Can Shut Down the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Neuron (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance if we plan to shut down the service, but we are not obligated to do so. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service changes or discontinuation.

Limitation of Liability

Neuron is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neuron and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or WhatsApp account restrictions.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
